QUESTIONS ABOUT ELECTRONIC ARCHIVING SYSTEMS

Can the system handle hundreds of small or medium sized customers and tens of big enterprises in one installation and with reasonable licensing  costs?

Is the system designed to operate in cloud computing environment provided by information logistics companies or service centers?

Does the system allow customer organizations to decide if they want to use single sign-on authentication with MS-AD, LDAP, X.509, SAML or to use the archiving system´s own authentication method. Can these various authentication methods be combined in the same installation?

Is it possible for a customer organization´s staff to administrate usage (users/passwords, document types/rights, user groups etc.)?

Can the system be accessed from several different customer organizations´ ERP/CRM systems or intranet/extranet services?

Can the system handle both big spool files and hundreds of millions of separate invoices or other documents - each in its own digitally signed/time stamped file and still be able to define access rights at page/document level?

Does the system allow both indexed and free text search?

Can the system be run in Windows, Linux or Unix environment with any common database system (MS-SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL,…)?

Is the system a complete package - so that you don't need other components from the same supplier to be able to run the archive?
